Our online program boasts a unique and robust curriculum, featuring courses in health promotion technology and innovation, health coaching, and dimensions of wellness and resilience. Your online health and wellness degree program will culminate in a hands-on practicum experience.
Throughout the online health and wellness program, you'll develop expertise in health coaching principles, the impact of health policy, innovative concepts to lead worksite wellness, and how to integrate social determinants of health to reduce health inequities. Your new health promotion degree will give you the foundation to provide one-on-one wellness services or implement innovative health promotion programs in workplaces. This online degree can also prepare you to continue your education in a wide range of disciplines.
Campus Requirements: There are a few on-campus requirements for this program including select prerequisite courses. A hybrid practicum takes place in the final year at an offsite organization or community-based setting.
Class Format: Most classes are offered in a synchronous format, meaning your cohort all logs in on the same day and time for the class. Synchronous courses typically meet weekly on weekdays and are scheduled during the day and later in the afternoon (Eastern Time).
