Make a positive impact on the well-being of your patients or clients with the Health and Wellness Coaching Graduate Certificate. Health and Wellness Coaching is an enhanced approach that supports holistic health promotion and lifestyle behavior change, emphasizing the nine dimensions of wellness: emotional, career, social, intellectual, spiritual, physical, financial, creative, and environmental. Open to students with a bachelor’s degree in a health-related field, this certificate prepares you to use coaching strategies in a variety of healthcare settings.

Please note: Interested students with an RN license may pursue the Nurse Coaching Graduate Certificate.


Campus Requirements: NONE – 100% online

Class Format: Most courses are asynchronous, meaning you can attend classes on your own time. Synchronous sessions may be required based on instructor preferences. 

Credit Hours Required: 12

Admission Requirements: Completed bachelor's or higher degree in a health-related discipline or a minimum of 1 year of wellness-related field experience. A minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA is required in the last degree earned relevant to the program of study.  

Time to Completion: 3 - 4 semesters (1 - 2 years)
