Academic Integrity

At Ohio State, we take academic integrity seriously and are dedicated to making sure you and your classmates are well-informed about how to earn your credential ethically in order to preserve the quality, rigor, and reputation of a credential from Ohio State. Academic integrity is a commitment to five fundamental values of education: honesty, trust, fairness, respect and responsibility.

Understanding Course Expectations

When taking an online course, it is important that you carefully read the course syllabi to understand your professor’s expectations related to reusing work, group work and acceptable forms of collaboration. Your professor will specifically explain their expectations related to academic integrity for course assignments in the course syllabus. All academic integrity options may not be available in every course.
