I Have Access to That as an Online Student?!

Imagine you’re an on-campus student and you need help with writing a paper. What would you do? You might schedule an in-person appointment with someone from the Writing Center for help. Now, let’s imagine this same scenario except you’re an online student. What would you do?

Many students assume that as an online learner they won’t have access to any of the services and benefits traditionally offered to those on-campus. Here at The Ohio State University we not only offer resources for online students, but we work to adapt them to meet your needs. Check out some of the services and benefits you’ll have access to as an online learner at Ohio State:

Writing Center Services

The Center for the Study and Teaching of Writing supports students in the creation and editing of class papers, as well as documents such as resumes and applications. As an online student you can schedule an online real-time consultation session with one of their writing experts or request eTutoring hours.

Scarlet and Gray Financial

Scarlet and Gray Financial is a nationally recognized peer financial coaching program at Ohio State. Your peer experts can help with financial goal setting, banking basics, budgeting, credit education and debt repayment education.

Our online students can access this resource through one-on-one Skype appointments.

TechHub Student Pricing

TechHub is the official campus technology store at Ohio State. They offer student pricing on various technology products. Sounds great, right? But, what if you can’t get to campus to stop by the store?

That’s not a problem at all. You can make your technology purchase over the phone and they’ll ship it to your doorstep.
